Use the WiFi generator. Network names are case sensitive. Select WPA for a normal WPA2 or WPA3 personal network, WEP for older networks, or Open for a network without a password.

Test on a second device

Create the code and scan it with a phone that is not already connected. Device support differs, and some scanners show credentials rather than offering a Join button.

Treat it like a password

A WiFi QR code is not encrypted. Anyone with a photo of it can recover its password. Use a guest network for visitors and replace the code when credentials change.

Try the scanner, generator or QR checker. Your images and QR payloads are processed locally.

Install Valid QR Scan

In your browser menu, choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”. On iPhone or iPad, open Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Safari on Mac, use File, then Add to Dock.

Visit once online and wait for “Offline tools ready”. Scanning and generation can then work without a connection. Opening a web destination still needs internet.
